DroneReady Curriculum
About DroneReady

Built for the teacher who'd
rather their students
actually pass.

DroneReady Curriculum is FAA Part 107 certification-prep material designed from the ground up for high-school CTE, STEM, and aviation programs. Every lesson, visual, and question maps to the FAA Airman Certification Standards — and to the state and federal codes your district has to report against.

Why this exists.

The FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is one of the few credentials a 16-year-old can legally hold that employers actually pay for — surveying, real estate, agriculture, public safety, film, and inspection work all run on Part 107.

But almost every Part 107 study resource on the market is built for adult hobbyists: dense, slide-deck-flavored, light on visuals, and silent on classroom logistics. Teachers running CTE drone pathways end up stitching together YouTube, an FAA PDF, and a $40 commercial study guide that none of their students will read.

DroneReady Curriculum is the version we wished existed. Worked examples before rule recitation. Sectional-chart practice that looks like the actual exam. Flashcards and quizzes a 10th grader will actually use. Standards documents your CTE coordinator can paste into a Perkins V application without rewriting.

What makes it different.

Three commitments that show up in every Assessment Pack, slide deck, and Bell Ringer in the catalog.

🎯

Built to the FAA ACS, not a textbook.

Every topic maps to a specific Airman Certification Standards area (UA.I.A through UA.V.B). When the FAA updates the ACS, the curriculum updates with it — no waiting on a new textbook edition.

📐

Standards alignment is documented.

TEKS §130.452, Virginia CTE 8910/8912, Common Core RST.11-12, NGSS HS-ETS1, Perkins V — every alignment is on the /standards page. Paste it into your scope and sequence as-is.

🧑‍🏫

Designed for first-attempt pass rates.

Every Assessment Pack mirrors the FAA exam format — 3 choices, ACS-style distractors, sectional-chart questions with actual charts. The 6-Week Bootcamp is the same content sequenced for one class period a day.

What's in the catalog.

14 standalone topics

From Regulations through Maintenance & Inspection — each topic ships as a slide deck, Bell Ringer, Assessment Pack, and Answer Key. Use one or run all 14 as a semester.

378 practice questions

FAA-style, 3-choice, ACS-coded, with worked explanations. Deduplicated and human-reviewed — no question repeats across the catalog.

The 6-Week Bootcamp

The full pathway, sequenced for ~30 class periods. Daily Bell Ringers, unit assessments, sectional-chart practice, and a 60-question final.

Free LMS (in beta)

Teachers can run flashcards, quizzes, and gradebook against the 378-question bank with no student emails required (4-digit PIN auth). Free with any catalog purchase.

Where this is going.

DroneReady is shipping new material on a public roadmap.

Who uses DroneReady.

CTE drone pathway teachers

Running TEKS §130.452, Virginia CTE 8910, or a state equivalent. DroneReady is the assessment + study layer, not the flight component.

STEM and aviation electives

Mid-semester drone units inside a broader aerospace, engineering, or geospatial course. Use one Assessment Pack or run the full Bootcamp.

After-school + Career Centers

Career & Technical Centers, after-school drone clubs, and dual-enrollment programs preparing students for industry certifications by graduation.
