Five questions on the boundary styles that trip people up most — including the classic solid-vs-dashed magenta trap between Class C and Class E surface areas.

Illustrative symbology key. The Bootcamp drills these against real FAA sectional excerpts.
For any boundary, ask two things: what color and solid or dashed? Blue is Class B (solid) or Class D (dashed). Magenta is Class C (solid) or Class E surface (dashed). The soft, faded bands are Class E floors — magenta vignette = 700 ft AGL, blue vignette = 1,200 ft AGL.
Get those two questions right and you can name any airspace boundary on the chart — one of the most repeatable point sources on the Part 107 exam.
The DroneReady Bootcamp pairs these drills with the full Part 107 question bank and classroom-ready lessons.
